I have an ix2-200 and I’ve been searching for a way to modify its OS to:
    1. Update Netatalk so it will connect to later versions of Mac OS X (so Time Machine will work).
    2. Install BitTorrentSync.
I’ve actually had BitTorrentSync running, but the problem is that every time the NAS reboots, it goes away. Apparently the system image is restored from a backup at each boot.
I’d be most grateful for any tips!

Hi Rob – I don’t have any experience in modifying the software that came with the ix2-200, just completely replacing it as per some of the posts on here.

I apologize if this is double-posted: there was some confusion about logging into WordPress.
